Walker Ultra Hold Liquid Adhesive is an acrylic soft bond for use with extended-wear bonding (perimeter and full-head attachment) that and has an estimated hold time of 1 Day and up to 4 Weeks (average hold time is 2-3 weeks) depending on skin type, body chemistry and skin preparation. Super-strength adhesion with a lasting hold it is made of a waterproof, non-yellowing formula that provides the strength and security desired from an extended wear adhesive. Used extensively in the medical industry. This glue can be messy and we recommend only applying a single layer since Ultra Hold is a thicker formula.

Directions and Recommendations: We always recommend a doing a skin test for any sensitivity: to glue or tape: place small amount of glue either just behind the ear or on the inside of the lower arm. Leave test amount on up to 24 hours and remove immediately if any irritation occurs. Only a single layer of glue and allow to dry 10-15 minutes before placing system on head (glue will still be soft and sticky). Use with a scalp protector for sensitive skin or to increase adhesion time for oily skin and in hot, humid weather and for oily or sensitive skin. Removal: Use a lace release product for lace bases to release adhesive or tape from unit. Apply a citurs-based, soft bond remover to remove adhesive residue from scalp, hair and base.

We can only give an estimate of the hold time as this can vary greatly from one individual to another. Body chemistry, activity level, oily skin, humidity and perspiration can interfere with or reduce the hold time and oily skin can prevent the tape or glue from sticking all together, so skin should always be properly prepared before applying adhesive. We recommend using Scalp or Skin Protector, which puts a barrier between the skin and tape/glue and may help to increase hold time as well as protect skin from irritation; individual results vary. Brand new wigs and hair systems should be washed before first use to remove any chemicals the manufacturer applied that may prevent tape and glue from sticking to the base.
